You don't have to register or spend any money, and it's a mild ten minutes diversion that I found quite interesting to do. Some of the questions are intriguing.
Here's what they said about me:
"You are full of questions about life, people, and your own potential. You spend more time than others imagining the possibilities for your life – and you're open to things others are too afraid to consider. You have an almost physical need to know and do more. It's only through new experiences that you feel a greater understanding of yourself and the world. You also have a rebellious streak that shows up when you feel unable to truly influence the world or circumstances around you. Your appetite for novel experiences also shows an openness others don't have, but wish they did. Your psyche is very rich; the more you learn about it, the more you will understand who you really are."I suppose it's possible they say the same thing to everyone, especially the last sentence, in an effort to get you to buy the full report. In which case, even though I didn't buy the report I should have called this post "hook, line and sinker", and signed off as "gullible" but then that would just be stating the bleedin' obvious.

They came up with the same conclusion for me, when I did it yesterday. And the day before, for the person who's link I followed there.
Given the number of options, what are the odds of this happening?
Unless, of course, they only have one result - with a clear objective in the final sentence, as you have observed.
Shame! I'd like to have been the person they described. Still, pretty pictures (unless bloggers are a self-selecting "curious" group)
Yes, I thought some of the pictures were very pretty. Albeit I didn't see any of the options they gave for some of them.
ditto.
I got the same result too, when I did it at the weekend!
hmmmm, ride and being taken for, come to mind.
kind of devalues the point of having it up there doesn't it?
never mind - I'll be more suspicious of the guy who sent it me next time!
everyone who spends any time here realsies how naive I can be.
Anyhoo, welcome Ivy, nice to see you here
oh, I'm sorry
I read 'rebellious streak' as 'rebellious steak' (must have been something to do with the word "appetite" hovering a line or two below, just within my peripheral vision) and laughed so much I almost choked
how on earth do they know what The Beep has in his fridge, I wondered - and what a bizarre description of a hunk of meat
seriously though, I'm not doing it, on the basis that I hate them
the only one I like is the 'coolthingstoputinyourblog' fortune cookie, which once told me that "happiness is not your underpants but closest to them"
word ver: blk-lc-by-shrts
Oh hey Beep, totally unrelated but let me know if you get any applications from graphic designers who are too far away for you, but conveniently located for West London. I've been looking for one for ages. (Where by "looking", I mean sitting at my desk thinking "hmm, I could really do with a graphic designer". I'm more of a thinker than a doer, me).
Clearly all our psyches are rich!
But the rest of mine came up different. I'm a respectful peacemaker me!
you mean you weren't "curious" Mig? this is important news! It measn all of the above rest of us are. hoorah! We are possibly all overjoyed. I'm curious to find out....
... so.... pulls self up to full height, hands into lapels, "Mig, can you pl confirm that you did the ink blot test thingy and gained a result other than "curious"?"
"You approach the world with reserve because unconsciously, and perhaps consciously, you like to be in control. You keep your emotions to yourself and you may seem mysterious or enigmatic to others. You're often very cautious about truly expressing yourself. Even people who have known you for some time may find it hard to get close to you. Your psyche is very deep and rich; the more you learn about it, the more you will understand who you really are."
I am very tempted to write something extremeley rude now
but instead I will go off in a f*ing huge huff
word ver: my-mind-is-a-blank
(oh, you know - like all these things - it's not about the inkblots at all, it's about your approach to how you answer the questions, in fact how "easily lead" you are)
*fnar*
oh, missed that word ver, now I have: usbekistan, maybe I'll go there instead. . .
Excellent, so, Dave and Ivy, we have not been suckered. Phew.
Thanks Dci and Mig. Mainly cos I quite like my description of me, jsut as I like being Batman. Hoorah.
Yeah, I swear. Apparently I am not curious but a peacemaker and respectful towards other people and care deeply about the world even beyond my personal involvement in it!
Hmm. Um can't remember the rest.
So there you are, curious people (and reserved, mysterious, person always in control :).
Did you notice it was 'designed by phd's'?
yeah, that'll be Piss HeaDs (remember the drink glass mark on table "ink" blot - I rest my case)
