Hey Sherbert, welcome along (like the design of your page btw - VERY good). I've always listened to R4, since I was in nappies. And love it, but I do have my moments with it: thought for the day, hometruths, you and yours, short stories read in faux sincere American accents and anything with shouting on it, so on which make me leap for the selector buttons. Then, depending on time of day I might wander into Radio5Live and/or Radio2 for some good music. But as soon as the Pet Shop Boys come along I'm off again. I adore Ed Reardon and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. They could play those all day and have me for life.
Rest assured, I didn't do the design - way beyond my capabilities. I too get irritated by certain aspects of R4 and also switch to R2 but overall, it's good company as a freelancer working from home.
