This was suppposed to be my 100th post, but I missed it by two. Anyway, I have recently been to one of the leading Rennaissance cities in Europe, and thus in the World. Everyone has their favourite city that qualifies. What's yours? Hereabouts are some small clues to the one I really rate.

New York.
Telford!
It looks like Oxford. Is it?
I have the dire misfortune to live in Didcot (Shitcot, Deadcat, Dikrot, take your pick) so I do spend time in Oxford although I rarely look up on account of the fact I'm a heathen and have no respect for culture at all.
Very small clues! But I wondered about Oxford too as they look slightly familiar.
Mine's Venice. I know it's really trite of me and I've only been there for one afternoon and one long weekend but I love it.
Happy hundred and twoth by the way and may you make many more!
ooh, I'm jealous - you went on a trip! when are we going to be told to where? (and why are the photos so small and tiny?) (and why are the photos not more informative?)
word ver: basildon
well said Mig, BTW: and did you get a telegram from the Queen, Beep? and where's the cake? and had the first candle melted down and dribbled all over the icing by the time you got to lighting the last candle? and what was in the party bags? I put fortune telling fish and miniature sparklers in mine, and small sticks of rock wrapped in pink celophane with a photo of. . . no, that would be telling!
xx
Isn't that the problem MIG? All Renaissance architecture looks the same. And Telford doesn't qualify Spin. For anything nice at all. And NY is fab Sherbert, but post-dates where I'm talking about by 300 yrs. Venice is good, but not good enough. Too small, and too, er, static. A curio these days. Florence would be a good bet. But has it got enough?
and basildon?
it's OK, I know it's not worthy of a comeback
you still didn't say what was in the party bags
:-(
was this ever solved? or have I missed something (again)
P&P (patient and still pondering)
not yet. Brewing a post. Culturing one, perhaps.
as long as you don't mix up those two (brew/culture) with your lurve potion (profile) I think we'll be OK
