Compelling

"We do not write because we want to; we write because we have to."
W. Somerset Maugham

In view of the discussion there has been about February bloggers block.

Just a thought.

Thoughts are good.

I'm glad we have to (that's if we're all part of the same 'we') as I read because I have to.

it was too *compelling* - not to repeat her previous comment:

it was a *testing* time during The Beep's absence: there was a *streaker* - under a *golden*, *cloudless* sky - wearing nothing but *jewellery*; a *sucker* for *curiosity*, never having run naked in the rain before. . .

*sigh* DCI thought, that still *stink*s

(but why is it raining on a cloudless day?)

how come your Valentine's Day post post (or lack of) (shame) turned into a rant about Johhnie Boden then?

word ver : love-van

If you read the Boden rant, then you will see that their catalogue as my only valentine. Sadly still true two days later.

'have to' has multiple meanings. I write to earn money.

me too GSE, but I'm no longer sure which came first.. because even if I didn't erarn from it I would still write. Or long to.

ok, sorry for confusion - what I meant to write was "how come your Valentine's Day post post comment string turned into a rant about. . ."

good thing I don't *have to* write for a living anymore, because I'd be earning zip

(and of course I wouldn't start a phrase with "how come" either, I'd think of a better way of putting it) (good thing I don't edit for a living anymore etc etc)
