Just keeps getting better and better.

I thought you should know.

As long as there's life after Mars.
Bated breath down here :)

Doesn't it just?

Is this where I get all smug again about how I've seen the final episode? Which rocks!

Last nights rocked big time, and yet the puff in the paper said it wasn't one of the best. Just shows what they know. I thought it had everything that most police drama lacks, especially tension. And what a joy to have a programme that my 12 year old doesn't understand - in other words it's pitched at a level higher than normal. I just love it.

And I am dying to know what happens in the last episode, esp as the new series has been commissioned. How will they do it? A whole weeek does seem an inconceivable time to have to wait .... but I am going to enjoy every tension filled moment of the next 6 days. Anticipation *rubs hands in glee*

Beep, you beat me to it - I was going to post an entry on the fabulousness of Life on Mars which I'll miss sorely when it disappears. The casting, the styling, the music, is all spot on.

It's WONDERFUL. And should send a lesson out to every writer, commissioning editor and producer: intelligent drama rocks. And has an audience. I await your post with anticipation. Although not QUITE as much as I await next monday at 9pm. I hope you understand.

Beep, I now find there to be no need to post an entry - you've already done it and I'm happy that it's clearly not just me that finds it the best of British TV. Inspired performances by the two main characters but the back-up of the others just adds to its brilliance.

as one suffering from block, I now feel guilty that I've somehow stopped you posting - there's room for more than my own jaundiced and opiniated view of the world! Anyway, I'd love to read your views about it, and probably learn more about why I like it so much to boot.

There are few things in life that fill me with more joy than really fabulous telly. And talking about it on the internet afterwards.

Am looking forward to next Monday so much that I can't bring myself to watch the last episode, even though I've had it for nearly a week now.

Pash - I think you've shown admirable restraint. I know I would not have been able to do the same. I am SO looking forward to next Monday I just hope Patroclus is right and that it's not a let down.
