Ps and Qs coming through - mind out!

"so what do you feel when he tells you to fuck off?"
" he doesn't tell me to...you know"
"and what about when he called you a stupid bitch?"
"he really doesn't talk like THAT to me....

...does he?"

None so deaf, etc.
Oh yes he does*.
And he's just 13.

His mum rang me in tears about him again this morning. I say again. It happens two or three times every month.

He's got three or so weeks of it left. Then he'll find out that telling adults to fuck off is not something that I tolerate. He'll also find out that being rude to his mother evey day is a one way street, and it's not one he's going to want to go down.

I have this fancy there could be a lot of luxury items for sale soon. Start the Q here for an Ipod, a turntable, telly with PS2, digital radio and so on.

Yes, and I reiterate: he's only 13.

Mind you, the mobile phone he nicked won't be for sale.
I fancy running that over.

*update: on most days. Not EVERY day I grant you, but most of the time. He treats her with little respect, and she has given him everything.

"come back", said the Beep.

I've calmed down about the A34 now. Had coffee. rescued my boy from skule and feel generally calm and delightful.

Calm and delightful is clearly something that your other half's son is not.

Storms ahead eh? Still it looks like you have some ammunition ready.
Er, does he talk to you at all?

you just may be the best thing ever to happen to that child. He needs to figure out how to be a decent human being, or he won't have a happy life. Good luck with this one!

somewhat off-topic, sorry, have you seen the FT article (front page at the bottom) about the BBC and the web and on-line communities today?

thought it might appeal to your ranting about the BBC and their website topics, but also reflects what a great community you have built up here, Beep

reminds me of my brother. He finally became human at 38. Only 25 years to go.

Hmm, seems like therein lies a problem and, of course, you'll seem like Big Bad Beep if *you* stop all that.

Ooops. Sorry Fran: the Ipod's gone: he bust it.
