Aaaaaaargh

Warning: may contain screams of frustration. Oh, here comes one Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Orange

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Broadband. Ordered 23/2/07. Still not delivered.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

Today 71 minutes (AAARGH) on the phone to Orange "support" at 7p/minute (aaargh). The seventh call in as many days.

Result: cancellation.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Orange is a loathsome company and just doesn't care about its customers. They blame BT for everything - but checked. This is not BT's fault. Orange lie to get you off their back. They have only just placed the order with BT. Six weeks late.

If I could stop everyone from ever using Orange I would. If I can dissuade one of you that'll be something.

DON'T USE ORANGE.

It won't do your blood pressure any good at all.

Official: I loathe Orange and I will never ever consider them for any kind of provision to me, my family or my business(es).

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH

On a different note I went to see Much Ado in Brostol last night and it was SUPERB. Really really really good. Orange not involved.

this is a little like CWC's post about OneTel f*ckwits (or whoever the f*ckwits were)!

how irritating

Yes, Dave. I don't.
But really it's me I'm annoyed at: I used to really admire Orange. I really thought they were a different company. A good one. HA! Many years ago I was among the first to sign up, only changing when I moved to Vodafone town and found Orange just could not get the same coverage round abouts.

Of all the broadband choices I was disposed to choose Orange because of my history with them. I felt they were GOOD. So I feel REALLY badly let down.

But I suppose, as ILTV is really saying they are all crap. Orange clearly couldn't care less that they have cost me more than £500 for rent in space I can't use at a time when £500 is serious money for me. I doubt though that any of them would give a flying .... ooops my time here is up.

We all have our little broadband 'issues'. Hope you find a satisfactory provider of a different colour.

Thanks Thurs.

Fran: I don't agree. This was something like the fifth or sixth time I've asked for broadband on a line - I have it at home and this is the third house I've had it in, and in two offices, and this is the first time I've had any kind of problem. If cable companies, and Orange, and I hear Talk Talk are crap too, the more fool us for putting up with it. There are good suppliers out there, and I will big up Fasthosts who supply me now at home. They are excellent, and I wish I'd gone to them first this time. I was educed by the Orange offer. You get what you pay for.

I can't get mobile coverage at home with orange. I've finally realised that this is silly...I'm moving phones.

Yes, I think one has to accept that the cuckoo is not allowed into the nest, as I found when I moved to near Vodafone 12 yrs ago.
