eBayting

It has taken me a while to realise that eBay is not all it is cracked up to be. They recently, without consultation, or indeed much thought, prevented UK sellers listings from automatically appearing on eBay.com. Considering the sort of collectables and antiques I sell, that's put a significant dent in my eBay sales. It's a real struggle to sell anything decently now. So the proper sellers, dealers and the like who provide 'quality' are leaving in droves. The consequence is that eBay is now becoming more and more like a massive car boot sale. Not the kind you find in Chiswick, but the kind you find round the back of a football stadium on a wet Saturday. Mostly tat. I wish I could wind the clock forward and see where it will be in a year or two. I remember reading that it has a turnover equivalent to Dubai's GDP. Making it the 50th largest economy in the World. Oh my, how the order of things is changing. I doubt it will stay there though. It has absolutely atrocious customer service, I mean really bad, and acts in a very high-handed fashion quite frequently. I suspect the cracks are beginning to show. I'd love to find another auction site: I've just started on here:

And there's ebid too, but I'm yet to start there.
Any others any one knows about?
