There are about 50 yds where the road is de-restricted from 30mph before it's restricted back to 50. I sure hope the police monitor the speed and check that no one exceeds the national speed limit on this stretch.
It makes me despair.

thought mobile were banned whilst you're driving these days. . .

I stopped, parked legally. Turned off engine, etc.
I also obey speed limits.
Sad but true.
OH, and it's SIX points now for using a mobile while driving. Half way to a mandatory ban....
There's a pressure group about excessive road signs. I hope they have some effect.
